Apostle Gerald Loveless on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 10:25 PM
I have been with AFC since 2002. It has bee such a blessing to our ministry. I was born and raised in Mobile Alabama. I knew that God had something special for him from the age of twelve.  I received and accepted Jesus Christ and the call of God on my life in 1992 at which time I became a minister and served in the counselor’s ministry at the Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove Texas  under the Pastoralship of Bishop Nathaniel Holcomb.  There I attended Speak the Word Bible College and excelled in the things of the Lord. I then moved my membership to Austin under the Pastoralship of Pastor Fred Moore of The Kingdom of God Christian Center in 1996 where I served diligently and faithfully for  five years.  I have a deep love and passion for the things of God and have consecrated and sanctified myself to a lifestyle of holiness. My wife, Elder Grace J. Loveless was born and raised in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, West Indies. She rededicated her life to the Lord in 1990 and also received the fullness of the baptism of the Holy Spirit at this time.  Elder Grace is a down to earth woman and is touched by the acquaintances she makes in the ministry.  She is motivated when change takes place in a person’s life through God’s Word, and her message is one of deliverance.   My wife and I eyed each other while serving at Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove Texas and were later divinely brought together in 1996 at The Kingdom of God Christian Center. There Elder Grace became the queen of my dreams and my wife for life. They are proud parents of four wonderful children, Jeffrey, Kevin, Gerald II and Grant. I like to watch sports. My teams are the Cowboys, Lakers and Alabama. I like to play golf, spades and dominos. The name of our church is True Hope Apostolic Church located in Northwest Austin. We will be celebrating 10 years of ministry in June of 2012. We are committed to preparing believers for the work of the Lord. Our True Hope Ministry Development Institute is designed to teach and train believers who have been called into the five-fold ministry.

For a period of over 10 years I used to make my living selling drugs and I ultimately became addicted myself. However, in the summer of 1980 Jesus Christ completely transformed my life from a pusher of dope to a preacher of hope! Having received the call and anointing of God on my life to proclaim liberty to the captives, I began carrying the message of God's power into drug rehabilitation centers, prisons, homeless shelters and on city streets. During that period I witnessed countless lives being touched and set free by the power of God! Since 1997 I have been serving as the full-time, Senior Pastor of Greater Peace Christian Church, located in the beautiful city of Austin, Texas. I live in Austin with my lovely wife, Stephanie and my three beautiful children: Amber, Monique and Trey. A lot of wonderful things have been happening in my life and ministry over the past 30 years. In the year 2000 I began fellowshipping with other local churches who were gathering together as the Agape Family of Churches (AFC). After a period of 3 years, prayerfully watching what God was doing with the 'Family', I officially joined the Agape Family of Churches in 2003. I saw AFC as a Kingdom Movement & Mandate! I had been carrying a similar vision along with a strong desire to see the Body of Christ come together across denominational, ethnic & cultural lines under the banner of love for Jesus, our Lord. God spoke to me in 2003 & said, "the vision I gave to you is unfolding before your eyes, will you not become a part of it?" Of course my answer was Yes, and GPCC has been a proud member of AFC ever since! I currently serve on the Bishops Council and seek to do my part in bringing the vision of AFC to pass!

Pastor Leonard Banks III on Friday, March 02, 2012 7:24 PM
My name is Leonard Banks, III. I have been with AFC since February 2003. I am orginally from the Windy City.I am a diehard Bulls, Bears, Sox, and Cubs fan. I also bleed burnt orange. I came to Texas in 1988 after serving in the US Navy, HOORAH! I knew at the age of fifteen that I was to preach the gospel. But like every other preacher I put that on the back burner. My mother made sure that my siblings and I went to bible study every Sunday morning. She use to wake us up by playing Walter Hawkins, "Be Grateful." We went out the back door through another back door to study the bible at our barbers house who was the Rev. A.C. Smith. We learned alot from Rev. Smith a youngg man himslef. I am a recovered "Crack Addicted." I went in an out of rehab three times. On the last time of being in rehab, God set me up in the bed in the spirit. I looked back at myself laying in bed sleep. On the wall in front of me was a movie playing. It was my life story. God should me my life from birth up to me death. He should me what my end was going to be if I did not give myself to Him completely. After that day, I have not looked back. I have been pastor The former St. Paul Baptist Church of Kimbro Texas aka St. Paul Christian Ministries for 13 years. It has been a very long journey. I am proud to be apart of Agape Family of Churches under the great man of God, Bishop L.A. Wilkerson and the lovely, Elder Lisa Wilkerson. I am Married to the wonderful Elder Rachel Banks, and we have a total of three children, three foster children and I have another son as well. We are in awe with what God is doing and what he is getting ready to do with AFC and every church under the umbrella of AFC. We are willing to do what it takes within God to see that the vision of AFC is brought to life. Hook'em

Here are some of the things I like; Physical Fitness, San Diego Chargers and Padres, San Antonio Spurs, riding my 750 Katana motorcycle when its working or when i have free time to ride. My favorite things are prayer and fellowship. as a child myself and my brothers learn early that prayer makes everything alright. This is one of the core values our father and founder of Maranatha Faith Center Floyd Sr, and Jo, mother, instill in us. I have been apart of Maranatha since the beginning 17 years ago. However the calling on my life started was evident when i preach my first sermon at age 12, the title "Jesus Loves You". like many others I believe in the calling but didnt walk in it until many years later (committed)along with my family. Im committed to live faithfully before God and support the vision of the family of churches . By the way i like to travel too. (lol)
